Q: You are widely known as one of the leading Businessman In the Pakistani community, what inspired you to start a Travel Agency?
Mr. Ahmed: Right from beginning I have learned to take challenges and turn impossible into reality that seems unreachable to others. I was also taught how to manage my time and money to be successful in life and that helped turning me into a leading businessman in my community. My childhood passion was to explore the world and travel so here I am.

Q: When did you start serving in traveling industry? Where would you find yourself now if not in this and would you be that successful?
Mr. Ahmed: I started my travel business in 1992 and I believe was the right decision that helped me achieve everything in my life I dreamed of. I am happily married with 2 beautiful kids and enjoy my everyday life. I have never settled with my routine business lines and always experimenting and call center in Pakistan is my new adventure.

Q: How do you think 9/11 incident affected travel industries specially your target market?
Mr. Ahmed: 9/11 incidents changed the whole venue of travel industry from buying ticket to getting visas; from luggage checking to airport security; and from frequency of business and leisure travel trend around the world. A smart businessman always finds new routes and strategies as the market changes and that’s what I did.

Q: What are the changes you seen in the industry during the last 5 years? Did you get benefited from that or you lost some along the road?
Mr. Ahmed: The whole mood of travel industry has been changed not to mention but least including electronic ticketing, online reservations, ARC procedures, airline regulations, fares and traveler priorities. Yes, of course WLT network got benefited by making its way through target marketing and that’s why we are holding 2 offices in Southern California to cater our clients.

Q: Having Main office in Santa Monica with a branch office at LAX, what will be your next venture?
Mr. Ahmed: Our customer response and trust that we get every day from community, repeated business and referrals makes us different from our competitors. Yes, we will open more branches to satisfy our clients in every way possible in near future.

Q: Do your belief industry is producing efficient travel agents to work with or is it hard to find an honest help?
Mr. Ahmed: Finding good hands for business is a key to success and success has always been part of our company.

Q: What has been constant in Travel Industry?
Mr. Ahmed:: Being constant is unhealthy for every business and an enthusiastic businessman always thrive for change and competition because that’s the fun part of business and this is what keeps a energetic boss on his/her toes. No, nothing has been constant and neither anticipates them.

Q: Do you feel Online Reservation will wipe out most of the agencies in the next 10 years?
Mr. Ahmed: Did Microsoft wiped out people from industry? No, it produced more employment and provides new opportunities to common public. Every innovation needs a human to operate them and every computer needs a man/woman to make it run. Mr. Naushad I have a BIG NO for your question and it never will wipe out travel agencies.
