Diet
Tips
First
of all, find a “buddy”, “group” or “club”
to help stay with your weight loss program, if you could.
Watch yourself everyday before
you notice any changes starting with your weight. It will take some weeks
before you find some real changes. This is quite normal and don’t worry
too much in the beginning as you will notice 1 – 2 pounds here and there
every day. Stay on your diet and be consistent.
Watch fried food on daily
usage. Use baked, roasted, or broiled diet more frequently.
Make sure to remove all fat
from meats and skin from poultry before cooking.
6 to 8 glasses of water should
be a normal daily routine.
Someone who like soft drink
and can’t finish a meal without it, start switching to diet one. Diet
soda contains 0 – 1 calories compared with the regular drink of 120
oz with 120 calories. Calculate how much calories will be saved just by switching.
If you have a habit of one
main meal a day, make sure it has to be morning to midday hours instead of
afternoon/evening hours.
A graph of chart is helpful
to watch weight loss.
Watch selections and take
small ones instead of gorging. Eat to live, not love to eat. Overeating is
number one killer!
Make sure chewing the food
completely, digestion of food starts from mouth.
Exercise schedule should be
timed and give importance to this schedule as it is a normal “important”
meeting of the day.
It has been said that the
best time to shop for groceries is only after eating. This way you will be
less likely impulsive buying extra food.
Start taking 4 or 5 small
meals rather than 3 big meals a day.
Watch your time in grocery
store, the more you buy the longer you stay.
