What do you think will make you fuller: a baked potato or
a handful of potato chips? a bunch of grapes or a teaspoon of raisins? a bowl
of butter beans or a few buttery crackers? two oranges or a cup of orange
juice?
It is advised to take food in the state of unprocessed. This state of food will make you feel to have more food and you will feel more fuller after you eat it. Eat Right Food Group
Fat
Recommended:
monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats: olive oil, peanut oil, peanut butter,
nuts, seeds; mayonnaise, salad dressing.
Occasional: butter, gravy, margarine, sour creame.
Fruit
Recommended:
fresh and unsweetened frozen frits.
Occasional: juices, canned fruits, dried fruit.
Starch
Recommended:
whole grain breads, crackers, cereals, and pasta; brown rice; starchy vegetables;
dried peas and beans, corn, potatoes, winter squash.
Occasional: biscuits, white bread, regular crackers, white rice.
Vegetable
Recommended:
fresh, frozen, and no-salt-added canned vegetables.
Occassional: juices, canned fruits, dried fruit.
Meat
Recommended: fish, poultry (skin removed), skim milk, low-fat yogurt, low-fat
cheese.
Occasional: lean custs of beef, lamb; whole milk, cheese; eggs.
