American Bank Annual Dinner

I won’t
be exaggerating if I call her an American Noor Jehan! If you heard me loud
and clear, the singer I am referring to is no other that Janice Miller who
mesmerized the audience on July 7, 2006 at the Marriot Los Angeles. The occasion
was Habib American Bank’s Annual Gala Function. Indisputably Habib American
is a bank that has earned an enviable reputation of r serving the community
for over two decades now.
Though the function was organized at short notice, the Los Angeles community
turned up at the Marriot in large number.
Mr. Saaduddin Shafi, LA Office In-charge and Senior Manager of the Bank, and
his colleagues were on their toes to ensure that the program was enjoyed by
the guests prominent among whom were: Mr. Reza S. Habib, Vice Chairman; Mr.
A.G. Abbasi, Director; and Mr. Saleem Iqbal, Chief Operating Officer.
In his speech, Mr. Saaduddin Shafi welcomed the guests and acknowledged their
continuous support for the Habib American Bank. “No doubt the Bank’s
standings are the denouement of our professional service to the community
who exhibit their full confidence at our commitment to excellence,”
he mentioned.
He paid tributes to Janice Miller: her perfection in singing Urdu, Hindi and
Punjabi songs were enviable and she stands out among all singers. Janice lived
up to her reputation and gave a truly scintillating performance that evening.
The guests thoroughly enjoyed the program.
