Celebrated Pak. Independence Day

CPACC, Urdu Writers Society, Karachi Club, Chance of Life, Friends of South East Asia, Pakistan Journal, Pakistan Chronicle, South Asian Alliance Network, PAKMD Network, Pakistan Arts Council, Pakistan American Association, Pakistan Sheriff Advisory Council, Travel-N-Tours, Scope, Pakistan Veterans, Alshifa APPNA, and SCOR have written the history and celebrated 59th Independence of Pakistan at Whittier Narrows Park, El Monte California on August 12, 2006.
Community of Los Angeles contributed with zeal and enthusiasm with the spirit never seen before. Event started at 4 pm till 10 pm with full capacity that security has to close the doors at 9:30 pm as masses kept pouring in to participate at the event.
Sheriff Lee Baca, Los Angeles Consul General Mr. Syed Ibne Abbas, Assistant Consul Mr. Wagan, and distinguished local dignitaries graced the occasion and address the crowd with the message of faith, unity and love for the country.
Mr. Ashraf Ali emceed the night gracefully and kept the audiences on their feet. Event’s main entertainer and Pakistan’s proud Fakhir mesmerized the crowd with his popular songs till the end of the night.
Event was a great success and we congratulate the team for
their efforts in staging such a show before the audience on Pakistan Independence
Day.
