Baber Ghauri visite Los Angeles

It all started
when human needed exchange of goods and services to sustain their economic
standings with other parts of the world. In doing so, Ports and shipping came
into picture and ever since it has been a dominant part of any government
on the face of the earth. Mr. Baber Khan Ghauri, Minister for Ports and shipping,
is whom you think of as a Minister who revived this industry as Pakistan’s
gateway to economic growth.
Mr. Baber Khan Ghauri was on an official visit of USA to contrivance the possibilities
of augmentation for Ports and Shipping Sector of Pakistan. During his visit
to Los Angeles Port Mr. Ghauri paid a visit to community business leaders
arranged by Karachi Club at Desi BarBQ Restaurant in Fullerton on July 13,
2006. The meeting was focused to apprise the amelioration of Port and Shipping
Sector and it’s impinging on economic growth on the whole.
“Now is the time to exalt the very structure of port and shipping sector
deemed as a backbone of country’s economic growth,” Mr. Ghauri
commended. Gawader Port will be completed before its time that will boosts
the economy being just 2000 miles away from Shanghai – one of economic
leader in South East Asia, he added. 600 feet water jet at Clifton, 140-acre
land for Engineering University in Karachi in collaboration with French Government
within 2007, an international food strip at Neti-Jeti Bridge, and Diamond
Bar Island City near Port Qasim were the highlights of the night.
Winning 2 seats in Kashmir Parliament is an outstanding accomplishment of
MQM manifesting selfless contribution for the cause of their people, Minister
lauded. With all the accomplishments, success stories, and popularity among
the citizens of our country, no doubt will re-elect in 2007, he stressed.
Answering question regarding the dress code of President Pervez Musharaf,
he lauded the notion that the President didn’t violate any constitutional
law and never will. “A 600 megawatt power plant is about to installed
in Karachi from Saudi Government that will undoubtedly release some pressure
of KESE,” he answered.
Mr. Sameen Faruqui, President of Karachi Club, expressed his gratitude for
attending the meeting in a short notice and appreciates the avid audiences
for showing up on a working day. The meeting was a blast an opportunity to
get one on one with Mr. Ghauri serving the country as a gateway to economic
growth.
