Unbelievable as it may sound, notes in the love for our Prophet (SAWS) filled the Cerritos Community Hall Friday, May 6, 2005. Repeatedly, for the last 12 years, Anjuman-e-Azmat-e-Mustafa (SAW) has been calling upon the community to highlight the Spiritual dimensions of Prophet Mohammad (SAWS). The hall assembled around 600 people after Magrib Prayer exhibiting love for the Prophet (SAWS).
The blessed night was the efforts from non other than know community activist Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Ibrahim, comely conducted and emceed by Mr. Mohammad Anwar and Mr. Irfan Murtaza. Renowned Scholar Mr. Hasan Ud-Din Hashmi and Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Ibrahim glorify the evening and bring out spiritual dimensions of our Prophet (SAWS) through speeches. Local Naat reader included Mr. Mohammad Anwar, Ms. Shafique Ahmed, Ms. Mehar Alvi, Mr. Irfan Murtaza, Master Faizan Motiwala, Master Bilal Murtaza, Master Shawn Murtaza, Master Abdul Ghafoor Anwar, Ms. Naghmana Sohail, Mr. Zia Khan, Mr. Abuzar, Mr. Husain Kaka Burney, Mr. Majeed Akhtar, Mr. Khalid Khwaja, and Mr. Arif Imam.
“God called our Prophet (SAWS) “Abduhu” (greatest of all human being) and “Rasuluhu” (greatest of all Prophet) and could be understand by reading and learning the Quran thoroughly,” Mr. Iqbal Ibrahim quoted before the audiences. “All other prophets came out for certain valley, town, state or country, except Prophet Mohammad () whose birth was the reason of all the universe,” he added. Dr. Hasan Ud-Din Hashmi told attendees, “You will be superior and strong if you are a true Muslim and he is who keeps Prophet (SAWS) closer to his vein”.
The night turned out to be a one holding for every age including
children who received gifts at the end of the night. A gourmet feast was also
offered to celebrate birth of our beloved Prophet (SAWS). Anjuman-e-Azmat-e-Mustafa
do deserved all the gratitude for arrangements and hope will continue for
years to come.
