It has been said there is a woman behind a successful man, well nurtured children interpret their mother’s personality, and home could be judge by its mistress; decoration, attire, and also aroma exhibit mood and persona of the Lady at Home. That persona, of any religion, society or believe, is nothing but a woman God has created as nitty-gritty in this Man’s World.

To celebrate the Dynamic Role God has destined for Women on this world, Imam Tariq Ansaar Aquil,Sr. of WWW-Without The Dot, has arranged a gathering on July 11, 2004 at Los Angeles Family Church, Temple City, California. There, Christian, Muslim and Jewish Women shared their faith, personal victories and Love for the Word of God through their contributions in Women who are working towards establishing Global Peace, starting first within them.

One should call it a call of the day where religious, social, ethnical, and economical war is at its verge and you witness woman ambassadors of the three religions, Christian, Muslim and Jewish sitting next to each other preaching Love of one God to the masses.

The moderator of the night was Sister Tahara Akmal-Kariem, Founder and Executive Produce of Niyyah Productions and Magdeline Millsap, Sadoc Christian Church, was the mistress of the ceremony.

Guest speakers included:
Evangelist Therese Desire’, a Haitian Missionary who survived the hazardous journey from Haiti to America then returned to Haiti to establish three medical missions aiding the sick and suffering in Haiti. In her speech, she mentioned the fact that all religions has only one destine and that is God who nothing but message of love, peace, harmony, spirituality, and pity.

Minister Magdeline Millsap elaborated the real fact of the nature that evolves from a woman which leads a family to tribe, from town to a city, from state to a country, and from a continent to a world. She stressed the fact that it’s a woman whom nurturing, teaching, training and personality make a man who makes a better world. Minister Magdeline Millsap is an ambassador for Peace who has worked for many years in Inner Cities of Los Angeles feeding the hungry, assisting the homeless and preaching the Good News of God’s Love for humanity.

Mrs. Sheri Reuter, Vice President of Woman’s Federation for World Peace USA, indicated the role of woman in peace process either in home or in the community. She pointed out that love has to be nurtured in the family first to bring it to the world and can only be started on the lap of a mother. She also emphasized that a healthy child meaning a healthy community which leads a healthy nation. Mrs. Reuter is an Ambassador for Peace of the first magnitude who recently journeyed to Israel and Palestine where she worked with Jewish, Muslim and Christian women and visited the Al-Aqsa Mosque, children’s hospital and Gaza. Mrs. Reuter participated in a “Bridge of the Peace Ceremony” reconnecting Muslim and Jewish Women in cooperative efforts for peace.

Minister Ayesha Muhammad from Muhammad’s Mosque #27, Los Angeles, Ca – Nation of Islam spread the word of love came upon all mothers through God to be transferred to children. “God has destined us as symbol of peace can only be secured by strength”, she added. Our children needed to be told the truth to help them understand themselves and the world better, was the point she stressed. Minister Ayesha Muhammad is an acclaimed interfaith public speaker who Shares message of dignity through personal healing and reconciliation and was specially appointed to her position by Minister Louis Farrakhan, the only other Muslim Women Ministers in America today besides Farrakhan.

Imam Tariq Ansaar Aquil, a keynote speaker of the event is an International public speaker and has authored several books. He published a searching and scholarly book on the national problem of prison recidivism in 1997, entitled, “The Dynamic’s of Prison Recidivism.” Mr. Aquil is an Orthodox Muslim Imam (Minister) and is often invited to speak at interfaith gatherings across America and around the world. Through his speech, Mr. Aquil pointing out the facts, meanings and origin of the word Mother and how it used by Men in daily life and that is Mother Nature, Mother Land, and Mother Country etc. Meaning every thing coming from nature and land has to come through a mother.

Main feature of the night beside renowned speakers was a video showing how 3000 scholars from Jewish, Muslim and Christian lead the roads of Jerusalem in Dec 2000 for love and peace with hope that shadow of darkness and hatred will disappear. The very event was the effort of IIFWP (Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace). The demonstration of love, peace, prosperity and brotherhood was the message of the night through the speakers and the video ultimately tells the story of the night that we can beat the odds and stay together to understand God and His Prophets for a better world.

The event was a blast understanding the core to its fullest and hope see us together and united in days to come. Amen.
