:: Put An End To Late-Night TV ::
Your immune system gets to work building cells to fight off disease and rebuilding tissue as you sleep each night. A disturbed sleep cycle, often experienced by the over-stressed, the non-exercisers, and those with a substance dependency problem, robs you of energy the coming day and can actually shorten your life span! Decide on a reasonable time to get to sleep each night and stick with it. You’ll be more energetic when you wake up and have a healthier body to show for it.

:: Thin Faces vs. Plump ::
Unfortunately, the thinner you are, the faster your face will age. Fat plumps out wrinkles and masks the loss of bone mass in the cheek and jaw area. Instead of dieting, turn your thoughts to healthy eating. Incorporate more foods that are actually good for you and the calories will take care of themselves. But junk food has to go! Just empty calories and who knows what else?

:: Buy A Fashion Magazine ::
Wearing the right clothes can have a tremendous impact on the age you appear to be. A forty-year-old woman can cause herself to look anywhere from 25 to 55 based on the clothes she wears. Pick up a copy of a fashion book and see for yourself the amazing style transformations that are possible. Doing so can shed years off of your appearance.

:: Make A List ::
Can’t sleep? Lots of little things running through your mind could be the problem. Instead of solving all of life’s little problems when you should be asleep, write them down and then put them out of your mind until tomorrow. Believe it or not, the process of writing them down helps to sort things out in your mind. What is even better is the fact that your subconscious will work on the problems while you are asleep and in the morning... a lot of the problems won’t seem quite so bad. Solutions have already occurred to you.

Is there such a thing as spot reduction? The honest answer is no. The body doesn’t burn fat in one specific area, but rather as part of a whole metabolic process. Studies on spot reducing have repeatedly shown that it doesn’t work. If you want to lose fat from a particular area, focus on good nutrition and aerobic, fat-burning exercise. However, keep working out the specific areas you’re unhappy with to firm and shape the muscle underneath the fat. This way, as you get leaner, the area will look 100% better than if you didn’t exercise while you lost the weight.

:: Get Off The Couch And Get Moving ::
Exercise doesn’t just help you lose weight. A physically active lifestyle has also been linked to an increase of HDL (“good”) cholesterol, lowered blood pressure, an improved mood and less chance of depression, higher bone density, stabilized blood sugar levels, and a boosted immune system. Each of these benefits are counteracted by the aging process. By fitting at least thirty minutes of exercise, three times a week, into your lifestyle, you’ll help your body fight the natural aging process.

:: Never Again Forget Where Your Keys Are ::
Memory problems are one of the most common signs of getting along in years. It doesn’t have to be that way for you. With a good sleeping pattern, eight glasses of water daily, an improvement in diet, and at least a half hour of exercise a few times per week, your memory will be sharper, more alert, and less likely to forget important details than it has been in years.
